DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Return of Whales to Hawaiian waters in Kawaihae with a Community Family Fun Day Cleanup\n\n\nActivity: Cleanup of harbors\, beach\, park\, nearshore trails and waters. Community partners sharing welcome.\n\n\nMeet up  and park  at Kohala Divers. Park at the north end of the building and road.\nSite help arrive at  8AM\nCleanup begins at  8:30 AM Ends at 10:30 Facility\, beach and trails\nTable sharing  begins 8:30 until done\nOcean environment Education materials\, safety banner and UXO materials available.\nMinors should bring signed waivers if they are not accompanied by parents or with a responsible adult .  Volunteers can sign in or  drop off waivers and pick up supplies; buckets with clipboards\, data cards\, pickers\, gloves\, and litter bags.\n\n\n\nWe weigh\, total and separate Hi5\, fishing line & cigarette litter for recycling from cleanup trash. Bag cleanup trash to dispose of properly at the dump.\n\n\nPlease send me your logos for updated flyer\n\nDonations of volunteer rewards/swag\, snacks & refreshments are welcome.\n\nPlease arrive early to complete sign in waivers

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first of the year cleanup and water monitoring survey event at Aquatic Park\, Berkeley CA \nCelebrate our own hound shark and bat ray nursery site and help us monitor\, and protect\, this beautiful marine park. \nJoin our Aquatic Park Stewards team testing water quality\, cleaning up marine debris and helping maintain the lagoon and park. \nRSVP link here: https://forms.gle/7r5UmPZGNgz4aYwC9 \nMeet at South End Parking Lot \n2925 Bolivar Drive\, Berkeley\, CA 94710 (Off Ashby entrance to East Shore Fwy) \nMAP \nPublic transportation and carpooling encouraged!\nNote- entrance to south end of park from Downtown Berkeley is off 67th and Shellmound Street- NOT Ashby Avenue. \n  \nWhat to bring: we will have some equipment to share but if you have a bucket\, picker and gloves\, bring them please. \nWHAT TO BRING\nLayered clothing\nsunscreen and hat\nsunglasses\nreusable water or drink container\nlunch or snacks if desired- no single use plastic please!\nsandals\, sneakers of beach shoes.\nCleanup supplies if you have them\nGather reusable cleanup supplies from home\, like a bucket and gardening gloves.
